Christopher L Chatfield, P.E. has a diverse work experience in engineering, specifically in water resources and transportation. Christopher started their career as a Co-op at the Michigan Department of Transportation in 2010, where they conducted research and updated GIS databases. Christopher then joined the Texas Department of Transportation in 2011 and held various roles, including Information Technologist, Engineering Assistant, and Transportation Engineer I. In these roles, they assisted with GIS support, coordinated transportation projects, managed consultant contracts, and led project status meetings. Christopher worked at the Minnesota Department of Transportation from 2018 to 2020, starting as a Senior Water Resources Engineer and later becoming the Principal Water Resource Engineer. Christopher reviewed and coordinated water resource design for the Minneapolis - St. Paul metro area. Christopher's most recent position is with Stonebrooke Engineering, where they served as a Water Resources Engineer. Christopher conducted hydraulic analysis of culverts and bridges, drafted and designed storm drain systems, ponds, and various Best Management Practices (BMPs) to comply with local regulations. In March 2022, Christopher began working as a Project Engineer at CONSOR Engineers.

Christopher L Chatfield, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Michigan State University from 2007 to 2010. Christopher obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID in June 2018, and earlier in April 2016, they also acquired a Professional Engineer certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
