David Reser

Board Member at CONSOR Engineers

David has over three decades of experience as a structural engineer in the areas of analysis and evaluation of bridges and marine structures; above and below water bridge inspection; new bridge and bridge repair/rehabilitation design; and marine construction. His education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University. As a US Navy-trained construction diver, David was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the US Army Corps of Engineers and served on active duty as a Platoon Leader and Detachment Commander in the US Army Diving Detachment, 18th Engineer Brigade, Europe. During that time, he performed underwater construction and inspection projects in eight NATO countries.

In 1994, David founded Infrastructure Engineers with a vision to provide full-service transportation engineering services nationwide. He is an award-winning, FHWA-certified lead instructor for the National Highway Institute, having developed and taught bridge inspection courses nationwide. He has presented at multiple bridge-related industry conferences, and has been published multiple times in Underwater magazine on topics related to underwater bridge inspection. For CONSOR Engineers, he leads strategic growth initiatives for the expansion of service offerings and geographic reach. David enjoys riding motorcycles, restoring antique cars and motorcycles, skiing, and hiking.
