Kallista Vera

Kallista Vera has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kallista began their career as a Hostess at Kobe's Japanese Cuisine and later worked as a Hostess at Guernsey Park Restaurant. Following that, they joined Oklahoma Christian University as a Mentor in the Bridge Program and also worked as a Writing Tutor. Kallista then worked at the university's IT Support Central as a Technical Writer, where they developed a style guide and wrote instructions for technology-related tasks. Kallista also gained experience as a Research Consultant at Atethemis, where they reviewed and entered citation information of relevant documents into a gender resource library. Kallista's next role was at Portland State University, where they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, designing and teaching college writing courses. Kallista also worked as a Writing Consultant during the same period. Kallista later worked as a holiday temporary worker at Powell's Books, where they performed various tasks such as book navigation, restocking, cashiering, and customer service. More recently, Kallista served as a Marketing Coordinator at KPFF Consulting Engineers and is currently working in the same role at CONSOR Engineers.

Kallista Vera earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Oklahoma Christian University, where they attended from 2011 to 2016. Kallista later pursued a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Portland State University from 2016 to 2018.
