Jesus Amambal Guevara

Jesus Amambal Guevara is an experienced geologist with a comprehensive background in mining and geological exploration. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Consorcio Minero Horizonte since October 2019, Jesus specializes in the reevaluation of projects and the generation of new gold potential projects within the Pataz Batholith. Previous roles include Senior Geologist positions at Americas Potash Peru S.A. and Minera Yanacocha SRL, where Jesus contributed to geological modeling and project generation related to gold-copper and epithermal deposits. Notable experience also includes leading exploration projects at Hochschild Mining PLC and Barrick Gold Corporation. An educator at the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniera for several years, Jesus has taught courses in mineralogy, microscopy, and geology. Jesus holds a diploma in Project Generation, Evaluation, and Management from GERENS Escuela de Postgrado and an engineering degree in Geology from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniera.
