Matthew Swanson

Matthew Swanson, PhD, is a skilled industrial and organizational psychologist with extensive experience in research and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow under a U.S. Navy research contract with the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area, Matthew Swanson collaborates with various institutions to evaluate suicide intervention programs. Prior roles include lab researcher at the Diversity and Inclusion Research Lab, where Matthew Swanson focused on diversity and inclusion methodologies, and as an I-O Writers At Work team member, translating academic research for practitioners. Matthew Swanson also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and external consultant, leveraging statistical techniques to inform data-driven decisions across multiple organizations, and has a solid educational background with a PhD from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, complemented by degrees from The University of Akron and Kent State University.
