Emilie Lae

Emilie Lae is a seasoned professional in the aluminum industry, currently serving as the Decarbonization Project Manager at Constellium since January 2023, where responsibilities include leading group decarbonization projects and managing carbon accounting and external disclosures. Prior to this role, Emilie worked as an R&D Project Manager at C-TEC Constellium Technology Center from September 2016 to December 2022, overseeing the development of aluminum rolled products and collaborating with European customers on co-development projects. Emilie's earlier experience includes a tenure at Alcan Centre de Recherches de Voreppe from July 2003 to August 2016, where roles ranged from Research & Development Metallurgist to Casting and Recycling Process Engineer, focusing on operational excellence, product development, and quality improvement across multiple sites. Emilie's career began with a VIE at the University of New South Wales, working on reducing greenhouse gas emissions from aluminum electrolysis cells. Emilie holds a degree in materials science and environmental engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
