Janet Acquah

Janet Acquah, MEg, currently serves as a Process Quality Engineer at Constellium since April 2024. Previously, Janet worked as a Process Metallurgist at Nevada Gold Mines, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with safety regulations and developing mitigation strategies for potential hazards. Experience also includes roles as an Adjunct Lecturer at The City College of New York, focusing on Hydraulic and Hydrology Engineering, and a Project Director at the Water Environment Federation, leading a project on energy recovery systems. Janet's earlier positions encompassed roles at the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency, Newmont Corporation, and Golden Star Resources Ltd., where involvement ranged from environmental assessments to metallurgical operations. Janet holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
