Joanna Beaver

Joanna Beaver, CMP, has extensive experience in event planning and management within the banking and hospitality industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Committees & Events at the Consumer Bankers Association since December 2003, Joanna oversees CBA LIVE, the largest annual event for retail banking professionals, handling responsibilities such as contract negotiations, program planning, food and beverage coordination, and overall management. Prior to this role, Joanna worked as a Sales Manager at Radisson Hotel in Annapolis, where transient and corporate sales efforts led to a tripling of monthly room nights. Earlier positions include Meeting Planner at the Consumer Bankers Association and Administrative Assistant at the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association. Joanna holds a BSBA in Business Administration with a double concentration in International Management and Marketing from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and furthered education at The George Washington University.
