Ann Epstein

Ann Epstein is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Office of Competition and Innovation at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau since December 2020, Ann collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance competition, innovation, and consumer access in the financial marketplace. Prior to this role, Ann held multiple director positions at Freddie Mac from March 2002 to July 2020, including overseeing affordable lending initiatives and leading digital innovations in mortgage technology. Ann's earlier career includes leadership roles in product marketing and supply chain consulting at Aether Systems, FutureNext, and Manugistics, and consulting for federal government financial services at American Management Systems. Ann holds an MBA in finance and operations research from The Wharton School and a BS/BSE from the University of Pennsylvania's Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology.
