Nick Williams has a diverse range of work experience. Nick started their career in 1999 at Planetedge, where they worked in a support role until 2001. From there, they joined Holt JCB Ltd as a Support Technician, providing on-site and remote support for the company's IT systems. In 2009, Nick joined Alliance Systems Ltd as a Senior Support Technician, where they identified weaknesses in clients' IT infrastructure and provided cost-effective solutions. In 2012, they transitioned to Consumer Intelligence as an IT Operations Manager, where they tested and benchmarked the performance of competing organizations and worked with companies to understand their requirements and deliver against objectives. Recently, in 2022, Nick took on the role of Head of Data Services at Consumer Intelligence.

Nick attended City of Bristol College from 2008 to 2010, where they studied CCNA Discovery.
In 1992, they returned to City of Bristol College and obtained a City & Guilds Level III&IV degree in Motor Vehicle Engineering, which they completed in 1993.
Before attending college, Nick Williams completed their secondary education at Downend Secondary School from 1986 to 1992. During their time there, they obtained a GCSE degree in Maths, English, Science, Design Technology, and Geography.
In addition to their formal education, Nick Williams has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the ORGANIZATIONAL DATA SECURITY FUNDAMENTALS course from Cybrary. In 2015, they obtained the Cisco CCNA certification from Cisco. In 2010, they acquired the MCP 70-290 certification from Microsoft. Finally, in 2017, they obtained the Prince2 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
