Meg Ryan, EIT, has extensive experience in consumer product safety, currently serving as a Federal Investigative Analyst at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission since September 2009, where responsibilities include managing the eSAFE initiative to ensure the removal of recalled and banned products from over 4,000 e-commerce platforms. Previously, Meg held the position of Federal Investigator, focusing on mitigating risks associated with consumer products, which collectively result in significant annual costs to public safety. Prior experience includes a role as a Staff Engineer at Underwriters Laboratories from 2000 to 2009, specializing in safety solutions, and as an Analyst at Nicor Gas from 1998 to 2000. Meg holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and continues education at Loyola University of Chicago.
