Dan Leininger is an innovative product consultant and engineer currently leading experimental engineering at Consumer Reports. In this role, Dan has prototyped AI/ML applications to advance public-interest technology initiatives and developed a smart device security labeling system presented at the White House. Formerly, Dan co-founded Happy Fun Planet, a project aimed at visualizing human knowledge, and served as CTO of ISeeChange, where they built platforms to connect communities with climate change data. With experience as an interactive director and founder of various design studios, Dan's work has consistently focused on leveraging technology for societal benefit. Dan is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business at Tulane University.
