Amanda Sedars is an experienced Chief Human Resources and Risk Officer at Mindr, where expertise in safety and detection products has been applied since August 2017. Prior to this role, Amanda served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Human Resources at UnityPoint Health, managing human resource functions for a significant workforce of 5,500 employees. Amanda's earlier experience includes overseeing staff relations at ChildServe and significantly improving operational efficiency and employee engagement in the Homecare division, where turnover was reduced dramatically. Amanda began a legal career as an Associate Attorney, practicing in various areas of law before transitioning to human resources. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and English from Iowa State University.
