Ed Frank has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ed is currently employed as the Director of Policy Communications at the Consumer Technology Association. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Public Affairs/Communications Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project.
Ed also served as the Senior Director of Policy Communications at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, where they led the communications team in the organization's Washington, D.C. policy headquarters. Ed held this position from 2017 to 2020.
Before joining the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, Ed founded Frank Strategies LLC in 2008 and served as its President until 2017.
In their earlier career, Ed worked as the Vice President of Public Affairs at Americans for Prosperity, where they played a key role in expanding the organization's state chapters and building support for their federal policy agenda. Ed also worked as the Director of Media Relations at the U.S. Department of Labor during the Bush Administration.
Prior to these roles, Ed held various positions in the field of communications and public relations, including serving as the Press Secretary at the National Federation of Independent Business, the Director of Communications for U.S. Representative Van Hilleary, and the Legislative Assistant for U.S. Representative John J. Duncan, Jr.
Ed's career started as a Sports Editor at The Daily Beacon, the student newspaper of the University of Tennessee, where they gained experience in journalism and developed relationships with prominent athletes.
Ed Frank earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1989 to 1994.
