Dovi Yellin

Dovi Yellin has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Dovi is currently the Vice President of Hardware and Data at Consumer Physics, Inc. since July 2022. Previously, they served as Co-founder and Scientific Advisor at BioEye from June 2022 and also held the position of Founder and Chief Technology Officer from January 2017 to June 2022.

Before that, Dovi worked as the Chief Scientist at Aquant.io, an enterprise SaaS company, from April 2017 to June 2022. At Aquant.io, they utilized AI and machine learning to provide predictive service recommendations and data-driven decision-making solutions.

In addition, Dovi Yellin served as the Algorithms Research Leader at Meteo-Logic, where they played a significant role in developing machine learning algorithms for weather prediction in the energy commodity market from November 2015 to April 2017.

Prior to their industry roles, Dovi pursued their academic career with a focus on neuroscience. Dovi obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where their research explored the relationship between spontaneous cortical activity and the eye's pupil from January 2011 to December 2015.

Dovi also worked at Pursway as the Algorithm Team Leader, responsible for developing algorithmic infrastructure and big-data analysis for social network analysis from May 2014 to October 2015.

Earlier in their career, Dovi held various managerial and engineering positions at ClickSoftware (now IET), ranging from Director of Logic and Data Services to R&D Manager of Algorithm Group. Dovi was responsible for designing and implementing logic modules and optimization algorithms for service chain optimization products.

Prior to their roles at ClickSoftware, Dovi worked at IET (now ClickSoftware) as an Engineering Logic Team Lead and Software Engineer in the R&D Group, involved in the design and development of resource scheduling software.

Before their career in the tech industry, Dovi served as an Air Crew member in the Israel Air Force from 1982 to 1990.

Dovi Yellin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience from the Weizmann Institute of Science, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (Msc) degree in Physics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University from 1992-1994. Dovi also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, which they obtained from 1988-1992.
