Binu Cherian is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience at Consumers Energy since March 2004, currently serving as the Director of IT - Core Application Platforms. Responsibilities encompass oversight of mission-critical application and database platform teams, including the SAP Platform and various database technologies. Notable achievements include reducing SAP ECC Oracle database size significantly and maintaining a certified SAP Customer Center of Expertise. Previous roles at Consumers Energy involved managing SAP services, performance monitoring, and corporate strategy programs, showcasing expertise in IT strategy and performance management. Prior to Consumers Energy, Binu Cherian worked as a Technical Manager at Covansys. Binu Cherian holds an ACE in Management, Innovation, and Technology from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an MBA from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras.
