Christine (Chris) Wisniewski is vice president of operations performance for Consumers Energy. She was named to this position in 2021.

In this role, Wisniewski leads implementation of lean operating principles across the company, working closely with Consumers Energy’s natural gas and electric operations teams. Using the Consumers Energy Way (CE Way), Wisniewski works to improve the company’s operations work management and quality functions.

Previously, Wisniewski served as executive director of operations performance analytics. In this role, Wisniewski implemented a first-ever machine learning model to improve estimated restoration times, increasing the company’s outage customer experience scores 73%. She also automated the company’s outage notification process using meter data to help improve customers’ outage experience.

Wisniewski joined Consumers Energy in 2014 and has held increasingly responsible leadership roles that leverage advanced analytics and operational strategies to deliver positive outcomes for customers and employees.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan-Flint focused on accounting. Wisniewski also holds a Six Sigma Blackbelt in Lean Operations and was awarded as 2020 Best Utility Analytics Leader from the Utility Analytics Institute.
