David Thornock

David Thornock is an experienced engineer with a career spanning over three decades, holding various leadership positions at Consumers Energy since 2008, including Director Generation Engineering at Ludington Pumped Storage and Director of Generation Planning. David's expertise encompasses the planning and support for diverse power generation systems, including coal, gas, hydro, wind, and solar. Previous roles include Director of System Engineering and Director of Component Engineering in Asset Management, focusing on reliability, maintenance, and engineering support for generation facilities. Prior to Consumers Energy, David served as Director of Engineering at Johnston Boiler Company and held engineering roles at ABB Combustion Engineering and Foster Wheeler Energy. David holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
