Ravi Mullapudi

Ravi Mullapudi has extensive experience in the field of data science, engineering, and analytics. Ravi currently serves as the Vice President of Data Science & Engineering at GOBankingRates since September 2019. Prior to this, Ravi worked as the Manager of BI Data Development at Indeed.com from May 2018 to September 2019. Ravi also held the position of Senior Manager of Engineering at YP, The Real Yellow Pages®, where they played a crucial role in building and supporting a platform for 600k external customers and 5k internal users, utilizing various technologies such as Vertica, MS SQL, Tableau, and Python for data integration of 30+ sources. Ravi led several initiatives and work streams as the Engineering lead and contributed to data gathering, prioritization, and liaison with stakeholders, resulting in the successful implementation and continuous improvement of the platform. Ravi was responsible for analyzing requirements, designing processes, and optimizing YP's core digital product, delivering value and continuous optimization.

Before joining YP, Ravi worked as a BI & Data Architect at Chevron, managing offshore ETL and BI Engineers to ensure the delivery of a Data Quality Framework and Metadata Management tools. Ravi also served as a gatekeeper for data model change requests across all Downstream supply chain organization. Ravi's prior experience includes working as a Lead in Data & Analytics at Mahindra Satyam, a BI Analyst at Citi, an ETL Architect at Cisco, a Data Modeler at Siam Commercial Bank, and an ETL Developer at GE.Most of their roles have involved handling data integration, data modeling, data analysis, and delivering efficient solutions to meet business requirements.

Ravi Mullapudi has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Madras. Ravi also holds an Executive MBA degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management, which is expected to be completed in 2024. In addition to their formal education, Ravi has obtained several certifications including Data Science for Executives from UC Berkeley School of Information in May 2019, Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop (CCDH) from Cloudera in November 2012, IBM Certified Solution Developer -- WebSphere IIS DataStage Enterprise Edition V7.5 from IBM in July 2010, Informatica Certified Designer from Informatica in September 2007, Cognos ReportNet Product Professional Advanced Authoring from IBM in June 2005, and Cognos ReportNet Query & Reporting, also from IBM, in June 2005.
