Product Designer at Conta Simples

Maureen Koop has worked in various roles in the design field since 2014. Maureen began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for Design and Sustainability, where they conducted a scientific research project for the development of LED lighting fixtures for Social Interest Housing (SHA). In 2016, they took on the role of Packaging Designer at Daniel Botschen, where they managed a project and team, developed alternatives, presented concepts, and built prototypes. In 2017, they worked at FutureLab as a Designer, participating in an international fair and creating innovative packaging concepts and products in a very short period of time. That same year, they also began working at Meu Móvel de Madeira as a Product Designer and Marketing Assistant, where they were responsible for administration of the retail store, customer service, organization and decoration of the environments, assistance in marketing strategies, and stock maintenance. In 2021, they began working at Conta Simples as a Product Designer.

Maureen Koop has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from the Universidade Federal do Paraná from 2013 to 2017, an Integrated Design program from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in 2016, and a High School diploma from Colégio Bom Jesus from 2010 to 2012. Maureen also has a number of certifications, including Data and Quantitative Research from Aprender Design in 2022, UX Metrics Conf from Mergo User Experience in 2022, UX Designer from Instituto de Gestão e Tecnologia da Informação in 2020, Agile Project Management from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 2020, UX Design from How Bootcamps in 2020, UX and Design Thinking from Udemy in 2020, Innovation Course from Centro Europeu in 2020, Emotional Intelligence from Escola Conquer in 2020, English C1 from Michigan English Test in 2015, and German B2+ from Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz.
