Alexis Thomas

Alexis Thomas is a skilled geoscientist with extensive experience in geothermal exploration and developments, currently serving as a Geothermal Geoscientist at Contact Energy Ltd since August 2023. Previous roles include Senior Hydrogeologist and Hydrogeologist at Beca from October 2013 to May 2020, and Senior Geologist at Sinclair Knight Merz from January 2010 to September 2013. Prior experience encompasses work as a Project Geologist at Crossland Uranium Mines Limited between November 2008 and July 2009, along with a foundational role as a Geologist at Sinclair Knight Merz from 2003 to 2008. Alexis holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from The University of Auckland, completed in 2003 and 2004, respectively.
