Chad McLawhorn

Chad McLawhorn is a Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Contango Oil & Gas Company since July 2020. Prior to that, Chad served as Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Mid-Con Energy Partners, LP from March 2016 to June 2020. McLawhorn also held positions at Samson Resources Company as Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, as well as Senior Counsel -- Operations. Chad started their career as an Attorney at McAfee & Taft after obtaining a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2002. McLawhorn completed their Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Oklahoma in 1999.
