George Thomas has a strong background in electrical engineering and management. George started their career as an Electronics Technician at Motorola in 1966 and then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Hardwood Line Manufacturing from 1970 to 1971. George then joined Johnson & Johnson as an Electrical Engineer from 1972 to 1974. Following that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Datalogics from 1974 to 1975. Currently, they are serving as the President of Contemporary Controls, a position they have held since 1975.
George Thomas attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1962 to 1965, studying electrical engineering. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1967 to 1970, specializing in digital electronics and control theory. George furthered their education at the same institute, obtaining a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on control theory from 1970 to 1971.
