Julien Blacas

Julien Blacas has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Julien currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Contentsquare since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Symphony.com from 2020 to 2022.

Julien's previous role was as a Fullstack JavaScript Developer at GridPocket in Sophia-Antipolis, France, where they coded a website for energy utilities using the MEAN stack and had over 35,000 users. This position lasted from February 2019 to March 2020.

Before joining GridPocket, Julien worked at SAP Labs France. Julien held multiple roles during their tenure, including Junior Frontend Developer & Security Engineer from September 2015 to December 2018. In this role, they developed a gamified learning platform for cybersecurity called "Capture The Flag Platform" and organized security events. Julien also produced security trainings and conducted social media analysis for security purposes. Prior to that, Julien worked as a Support Developer (Apprenticeship) at SAP Labs France from October 2014 to September 2015.

Julien Blacas attended various educational institutions and obtained certifications. In 2014, they enrolled in the Université Côte d'Azur and completed a Master M2 MIAGE NTDP degree the following year. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Master M1 degree in Méthodes Informatiques Appliquées à la Gestion des Entreprises (MIAGE) at the same university. In the year 2012, Blacas obtained a License L3 MIAGE degree with a specialization in Management informatique. Before their university studies, they attended the Université Côte d'Azur from 2010 to 2012 and acquired a DUT Réseaux et télécommunication diploma. Additionally, from 2009 to 2010, Blacas attended the Lycee Francais de Saint Domingue, where they achieved a French national diploma in Sciences. In May 2020, they obtained the Symphony Certified Developer certification from Symphony.com.
