Kate Redfern

Kate Redfern has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the UX Writing Director at Contentsquare since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Tech Copywriter at Copy Kate from December 2016 to September 2022, where they specialized in writing for industries such as SAAS, AI, MarTech, EdTech, and aerospace. Kate also worked as a Tech Writer at JMA Communications from December 2020 to August 2022, focusing on writing for a developer audience on topics like conversation AI.

In addition, Kate had a role as a Conversion Copywriter & Product UX Copy at System1Group from December 2021 to June 2022, where they worked on brand strategy copy and product UX copy. Kate collaborated with various teams within the company to ensure a clear and consistent user journey. In the past, they worked as a Copywriter for Autonomous Vehicle Technology at EasyMile from February 2020 to June 2022, and as a Copywriter and Copyeditor for Thales Alenia Space from June 2020 to August 2020.

Kate Redfern has pursued a diverse education history with a focus on copywriting and law. In 2003, they attended Nottingham Law School, where they completed a Bar Course (BVC) in Law. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they studied at Ropewalk Chambers, earning a Pupillage degree in Law.

In 2017 and 2018, Kate enrolled at The Blackford Centre, where they obtained a Diploma in Copywriting. Kate continued to expand their copywriting skills by attending The Copywriter Club Underground, though specific dates for this education experience are not provided.

Most recently, in 2020, Kate Redfern attended Copy School - CopyHackers to specialize in Conversion Copywriting. Kate also holds certifications in Web Accessibility Basics and Contentsquare from Contentsquare, acquired in September 2022 and August 2022, respectively.
