Simon updated various components of Criteo's system and designed multiple iterations of a recommendation algorithm. Previously, from January 2015 to June 2017, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Criteo, working on product recommendation algorithms, adding image recognition features to the algorithms, and implementing product embeddings to enhance recommendation algorithms. Simon also won two editions of the internal Hackathon.

Simon's earlier career began at Botify in September 2013, where they worked as a Data Engineer until December 2014. Simon contributed to the automatic discovery of SEO potential optimizations through website structure analysis and Google Analytics data import and mapping.

Before Botify, Simon worked at LTU Technologies from January 2008 to September 2013. Simon started as a Research Engineer, implementing a new generation of image fingerprinting algorithms based on interest points. Simon then moved on to become a Research Team DevLead, managing a team of 3 engineers and playing a crucial role in the development of the image recognition engine at the core of LTU Technologies' products. Simon also designed and integrated an innovative algorithm for image comparison and handled relationships with academic labs.

Simon Dollé started their education at Lycée du Parc from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Mathematics. Simon then went on to receive a Master's Degree from CentraleSupélec from 2003 to 2008. During the same period, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued a Diplom Informatik degree in Computer Science at Technische Universität Dresden.

In terms of additional certifications, Simon obtained the Botify certification from Botify in June 2014. Simon also completed the course "Mining Massive Datasets" on Coursera in December 2014. In 2022, they achieved several certifications from Contentsquare, including Contentsquare Certified Expert, Contentsquare Certified, and Contentsquare Merchandising Certified.
