Marion Goepferich Kruse

Marion Goepferich Kruse has a long and varied career in healthcare. Marion began their career in 2000 as the Director of Clinical Documentation Program at OhioHealth. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Managing Consultant at Navigant Consulting, providing physician and clinical documentation specialist education and mentoring, as well as MS-DRG tool development. From 2008 to 2014, they were a Director at FTI Consulting, helping create and implement FTI's ICD-10 readiness assessment product and Clinical Documentation and Coding Integrity Program. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Senior Managing Director at Precyse, creating and implementing a joint CM/UR and CDI Assessment product, including project plan, budget calculator, proposal, and report templates. Currently, they are the Director of Learning and Development and Director Clinical Operations at Contessa Health.

Marion Goepferich Kruse obtained a BSN in Nursing from The Ohio State University between 1983 and 1987. Marion then went on to earn an MBA in Business from Franklin University. Marion also holds certifications as a Registered Nurse from the State of Arizona and the State of Ohio.
