Shayne Bayer

Shayne Bayer has worked in the healthcare industry since 2013. In 2015, they began working at Butler Memorial Hospital as a Critical Care Registered Nurse and a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. In 2013, they began working at UPMC Passavant - McCandless as a Professional Staff Registered Nurse. In 2021, they began working at Contessa Health as a Recovery Care Coordinator. During their time at Butler Memorial Hospital, Shayne was a part of the Staffing Committee and the Service Excellence Committee. At UPMC Passavant, they were a part of the Magnet Champions Committee and the 6 Main Professional Practice Council.

Shayne Bayer completed a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Butler County Community College from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they obtained a Registered Nurse certification from the Pennsylvania department of state in October 2019, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experienced Provider (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association in May 2019, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association in May 2019.
