Brent Carlton

Brent Carlton, an Underwriter with Context Business Lending, is responsible for evaluating prospective borrowers’ credit worthiness as well as fit within Context’s credit guidelines. He works closely with the Business Development Officers and Credit Committee to help ensure that each underwriting progresses smoothly. Brent has over 10 years of middle market underwriting and portfolio management experience, primarily with BB&T and Truist Financial Corporation. Brent holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
