Karen Chagin

Karen Chagin, MD, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Context Therapeutics and as the Senior Vice President of Early Stage Development at Adaptimmune, both positions held since 2023. Previously, Karen Chagin held multiple leadership roles at Tmunity Therapeutics Incorporated, including Chief Medical Officer, Senior Vice President of Clinical Development and Operations, and Vice President of Clinical Development from April 2019 to October 2023. Prior to Tmunity, significant positions included Vice President of Medical and Clinical Development at Adaptimmune, Director of Early Development at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Medical Director of Oncology Research and Development at GlaxoSmithKline. Karen Chagin began formal training in medicine at Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania.
