Dan Mahoney

Dan Mahoney has worked in the tech industry since 1985, starting as a Senior Software Engineer at Wang. Dan then worked as a Project Leader/Principal Software Engineer at Motorola Home & Networks Mobility and Cabletron. In 1997, Dan became a Principal Software Engineer at Nortel Networks, where they managed the Optivity Services Accounting project. In 1999, they were promoted to Director of Software at Electronic Retailing Systems International, where they managed the development and release of ShelfNet wireless electronic shelf label system. In 2002, they became Co-Owner and Chief Geek at Island Creations and The Virtual Sail Loft. In 2015, Dan started working at IoT Impact LABS as Lead Engineer, where they built the LABS effort to measure the impact of instrumenting the physical world. Dan also became a Mentor at Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll). In 2018, Dan joined Context Labs BV as Director Of Engineering, Technical Compliance, Software Quality Assurance Manager, Pricipal QA/DevOps Engineer, and Principal UI Engineer. Dan designed and developed a component-based UI for rapid deployment of client UIs using Nuxtjs, VueJs, and Jest.

Dan Mahoney holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from Northeastern University, as well as a High School Diploma from The Hotchkiss School.
