Rebeca Quintanilla

SVP, Global Head of Origination at ContextLabs

Rebeca Quintanilla has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Rebeca began their career in 1991 as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. In 1994, they joined Koch Industries as Managing Director - Latin America. Rebeca then moved to Louis Dreyfus Energy Services in 1999, where they held the roles of VP Origination and Vice President. In 2010, they became Vice President, Origination at Noble Americas. In 2013, they joined Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. as Director of North American Business Development. In 2016, they became an Entrepreneur and Energy Commodities Trader. In 2019, they joined SUNY New Paltz as a Foundation Board Director. In 2021, they joined Context Labs BV as SVP, Global Head of Origination, and also joined the Commodity Genome Project as a Contributing Team and VCMI as an Expert Advisory Group Member.

Rebeca Quintanilla has a Certificate in Sustainable Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, which they earned in 2021 with a focus on ESG, Sustainability, Paris Agreement, and COP26. Rebeca also holds an MA in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a BBA in International Business from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
