Luis Garcia

Luis Garcia began their work experience in 1984 as an Electrical Fitter for the Gibraltar Electrical Authority. Luis then worked as a Lab Technician at Passano Opticians in 1991. In 1992, they became an Electrical Fitter for the UK Ministry of Defence and held various roles within the organization, including Manager of Overseers and Water Production. In 2005, they managed the MOD's Generating Station and the High Voltage Distribution network. Luis joined Gibraltar Mechanical & Electrical Services Ltd as the Manager of the Power Station in 2011. Luis then transitioned to Continent 8 Technologies in 2012, where they served as the Facility Manager, General Manager, and currently holds the position of Head of Global Facilities. Additionally, Luis has been a Director at Piece of Cake Ltd Gibraltar since 1990.

Luis Garcia attended Bayside Comprehensive School from 1979 to 1982. Afterward, they enrolled at Gibraltar College for Further Education from 1984 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, in November 2017, Luis obtained the BIFM Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management from the professional body for facilities management, BIFM.
