Elvira Martinez Gil

Elvira Martinez Gil has extensive experience in the software engineering and functional safety domains, currently serving as Manager of Comfort Functions Software and Functional Safety Manager at Continental Engineering Services since May 2015. Responsibilities include managing the functional safety process according to ISO26262, conducting hazard analysis, risk assessments, and functional safety assessments, as well as defining internal processes and training team members. Prior to this role, Elvira worked as Manager of Body Software, focusing on requirements engineering, quality coordination, and software testing. Earlier experience includes a position as a software engineer at IPN Brainpower GmbH Co. KG, where responsibilities encompassed conducting software coverage tests, functional testing for ECUs, and software development. Elvira holds an engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Málaga and a Master of Science in Communications Technology, with studies at TU Dortmund University and Ulm University.
