Anthony Melin

Anthony Melin has a diverse work experience across multiple companies. Anthony started their career at Downing Teal, where they served as an IT Manager for seven years. During this time, they were responsible for delivering and supporting IT services for a global human resources and recruitment consultancy. Anthony also successfully completed a Windows 2000, Exchange 2000, and Active Directory rollout across multiple offices.

After that, Anthony worked as a Windows Infrastructure Consultant and Systems Team Lead at Translucent Group Pty Ltd, where they specialized in systems integration, Active Directory infrastructure design, system auditing, and maintenance/support of Windows-based networks. Anthony also led a team of systems consultants and handled various responsibilities including training, task designation, and team logistics.

Anthony then served as a Web Infrastructure Consultant at Bernard Hodes Group, where they revamped the web server infrastructure and facilitated the handover process to the internal IT department.

Following that, they worked as a Web Infrastructure Support Analyst at Emap, where they migrated large web applications into a centralized, outsourced hosting environment. Anthony was also responsible for web site migration and implementing a new alert and monitoring system for online services.

Anthony then served as a Senior Web Infrastructure Engineer at Schawk, where they provided delivery, change, and configuration management for the company's .NET/ASP web application. Anthony also managed the rollout of new servers and versions of the web application.

After that, they worked at Capital Support Ltd as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, where they implemented and supported server and desktop infrastructure for private equity, hedge fund, and investment banking firms. Anthony assisted in creating technical and procedural standards, managed the rollouts of Blackberry server upgrades, and completed multiple Microsoft Exchange migrations.

Next, Anthony worked at Concentra Analytics as the Head of Infrastructure and Cloud Hosting. In this role, they managed a team and oversaw all internal and client-hosted systems infrastructure, including private cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and on-premise infrastructure. Anthony was also responsible for release management, environment provision, configuration management, and infrastructure support for various systems. Additionally, they served as an infrastructure architect for client solutions, both cloud-hosted and client-hosted.

After that, they worked as an Azure Server Engineer at UXC Connect | Ready for what comes next, where they focused on Azure server-related tasks.

Finally, Anthony's most recent role was as a Technical Principal at Contino. Anthony joined the company in August 2019, and their role and responsibilities have not been specified further.

Anthony Melin completed a Bachelor of Information Systems degree at the University of Melbourne from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they obtained certifications in Tableau Server 9, ITIL Foundation v3, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate in 2015, 2014, and 2019 respectively.
