Lizanne Vaughan

Lizanne Vaughan serves as Chief People Officer for Getty Images, overseeing all aspects of the company’s diverse global workforce. Based in Seattle and sitting on the company’s executive team, Lizanne serves as a strategic partner, executing an HR strategy that that is synchronistic to the vision and fast‑growing pace of Getty Images.

Working with Getty Images’ Legal team for the last 14 years, most recently as Vice President, Corporate Counsel, Lizanne is a key partner for the company’s HR team and a consistent, fair voice for employees.

As CPO, Lizanne drives corporate culture and values, ensuring the company has a world‑class human resources strategy to support growth and success, further strengthening Getty Images’ competitive advantage through commitment to culture, D&I and aligning human capital to company strategy. Her responsibilities also include directing and leading people‑centric global initiatives and programs that align with the company’s objectives, including staffing, diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee and leadership development, employee relations, compensation and benefits.

Previously, as Getty Images Vice President of Corporate Counsel, Lizanne oversaw global claims and litigation matters for the business, serving as employment and legal compliance counsel. Prior to her time with Getty Images, Lizanne served as an Instructor at the University of Washington, as well as Seattle University, and as counsel at Oles Morison Rinker & Baker LLP.

Lizanne holds a JD from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and originally hails from just outside of Philadelphia, United States.
