Alioune Barro

Alioune BARRO is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as the Regional Tax Manager at ContourGlobal since January 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing taxation for African entities. Prior experience includes a role as the Accounting and Financial Manager at KPMG Sénégal, managing accounting, reporting, and tax matters, and working as a Tax Specialist at Philip Morris West Africa SARL, focusing on various aspects of corporate taxation and compliance. Alioune BARRO began a career in audit at the Cour des Comptes du Sénégal, conducting comprehensive audits of public enterprises. Additionally, Alioune BARRO has a background in academia, having taught accounting and taxation at various institutes from 2008 to 2012. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Tax Law from UCAD and expertise in accounting and finance from CESAG and Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique de Dakar.
