Anna Dimitrova

Anna Dimitrova has extensive experience in energy policy, decarbonization, and climate risk management. Currently serving as the Director for Bulgaria's Decarbonization Strategy and Climate Risk at ContourGlobal since December 2023, Anna previously worked at EVN Bulgaria as Procurator and Head of the Department for Energy Policy, Environment, and Innovation, overseeing national and EU energy policies, environmental compliance, and EU-funded projects from September 2018 to October 2023. Anna's background includes leadership roles at Eurelectric, focusing on energy innovation and regional cooperation, and research at the Centre for European Policy Studies on internal energy markets. Anna has actively contributed to civic society through initiatives like Raznomishlenitzi and has held various leadership positions during university studies, including Vice President of Student Activities at Dundee University. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in International Relations and International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS, advanced training in Energy Regulation from the Florence School of Regulation, and a Master of Arts from the University of Dundee.
