Franco Calvi

Franco Calvi has a strong background in renewable energy, with experience in various roles and companies. Franco started their career in 2013 as a Design Engineer at Quotidia Spa, where they conducted feasibility studies and energy analyses for photovoltaic plants. In 2014, they joined REA Srl as a Junior Technical Advisor, where they specialized in project financing and acquisition of renewable energy plants. Franco also conducted technical due diligence for mini hydropower plants. In 2016, they joined OST Energy as a Renewable Energy Advisor, focusing on technical due diligence for solar PV projects in multiple countries. In 2017, they moved to RINA as a Renewable Energy Engineer, working on renewable energy projects. Franco'smost recent position is with ContourGlobal, where they have held roles as a Technical DD Expert, Solar Plant Manager, and currently, as the Solar Operations Director.

Franco Calvi obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Building Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Franco also received additional certifications, including the qualification of thermographer of 2nd level according to UNI EN ISO 9712:2012 from Bureau Veritas, which was obtained in June 2014. In addition, they obtained the professional engineer qualification in Section A, Civil, Environmental and Territorial from Politecnico di Milano in March 2014.
