Ernesto de la Torre

Ernesto De La Torre, MA, serves as a Program Manager for Contra Costa County since March 2021, leading the COVID-19 Ambassador program that engages underserved communities in health initiatives. With extensive experience at Chevron from 2006 to 2020, Ernesto De La Torre held multiple roles including Senior Wellness & Public Health Advisor, where significant contributions were made to minimize the effects of COVID-19 on operations and community health. Previous positions include directing global public health initiatives and advising executive leadership on employee engagement strategies. Ernesto De La Torre also contributed to student affairs at California State University, Chico, and worked as a diversity consultant from 1999 to 2005.
