Ryan McClain

Ryan McClain is a seasoned transportation professional with over 20 years of experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director of Projects and Operations at the Contra Costa Transportation Authority since March 2025, McClain previously held the position of Transportation Manager at the City of Pleasant Hill from July 2023 to March 2025. Prior experience includes significant roles as Principal at Fehr & Peers from December 2007 to July 2023 and as a Consultant at Salter from December 2005 to December 2007. McClain began a career as an Associate Engineer at Nolte Associates Inc from July 2001 to May 2005. McClain earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1996 and 2001.
