Erin Horner

Head of Creative at Contra

Erin Horner is the Head of Creative at Contra. Erin has been leading brand and creative strategy for the company for the past 3 years and 7 months. Prior to that, they were self-employed as an independent designer for 4 years and 6 months. Erin has also taught Interaction Design and Communication I & II as an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts for 9 months. Erin has also worked as a lead designer at Red Antler, where they led creative by designing digital experiences and products for brands. Erin has also worked as a visual designer at Huge, where they collaborated with user experience designers, strategists and engineers to develop creative and design consumer-facing websites and interactive media projects for a variety of Fortune 500 companies. Erin has also worked as an art director and designer at Target for 2 years and 1 month. Erin has also served as a student ambassador at the Savannah College of Art and Design for 1 year and 11 months. Erin started their career as an art direction intern at Target for 3 months.

Erin Horner graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. While attending SCAD, Erin was a Student Ambassador and Union (Graphic Design Club) Member. Erin graduated Summa Cum Laude while continuing to be an active member of the design community. In December 2009, Erin participated in SCAD's off-campus trip to London as one of 25 students selected to take classes in London, UK for two weeks.
