Jason Chen

Jason Chen is currently a board member at Contrary. Prior to that, they were a co-founder at Vesper, where they were responsible for all internal operations and external client management. Jason has also worked as an independent advisor focused on fundraising and growth for early-stage startups. In this role, they spent a lot of time thinking about the intersection of early-stage and global development. Jason has a background in technology and operations, and they are passionate about helping startups grow from 0 to 1.

Jason Chen received a BA in Economics and English from Yale University. Jason then went on to get their MBA from The Wharton School. Finally, they received an M.A. in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
