Manufacturing Execution Systems Engineer at Control Associates, Inc.

James Nanchanatt has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. James started their career as a Manufacturing Execution Systems Engineer at Control Associates, Inc. in 2021.

Prior to that, James worked at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) where they held multiple roles. James was an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Arinzeh's lab, focusing on engineering cell scaffolds to promote nerve cell growth. James also served as a Splash Administrator and Chemistry Tutor.

During their time at NJIT, James also completed a Research Fellowship where they designed a new electrospinning technique for creating cellular scaffolds. James presented their findings at the Undergraduate Research Symposium.

In 2019, James joined The Vector: NJIT's Student Newspaper as the Lead Copy Editor, a role they held until 2021.

In 2020, James worked as a Product Management Co-op at Ethicon, Inc. Here, they supported the development of new projects and managed lifecycle projects. James conducted process characterization on newly developed products and implemented controls to mitigate bacterial contaminants in wound closure products.

Lastly, from 2019 to 2020, James served as the Biomedical Engineering Representative for the NJIT Student Senate. In this role, they acted as a liaison between students and faculty, gathering feedback and coordinating improvements for the department. James was also a member of the Student Affairs Committee, contributing to enhancing student life on campus.

James Nanchanatt completed their high school education at Mendham High School from 2013 to 2017 and received a High School Diploma. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2021.
