Andres Fellenberg Van der Molen has a diverse and extensive background in sustainability and management systems. Andres currently serves as the Managing Director & Senior Lead Auditor at Green Partner Audits & Consultancy, where they advise companies on implementing sustainability and green certifications. Andres is also the Foundation Board Secretary and an expert in sustainability and circular economy at Zero Waste Foundation.

In addition, Andres has worked as an Independent Expert for the European Commission and as a Lead Auditor, Consultant, Trainer, and Implementer at EarthCheck, a benchmarking and certification group for travel and tourism. Andres is also a Lecturer in Sustainability and Management Systems at Universidad San Sebastián.

Andres has played multiple roles within the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), including serving as a Master Auditor Trainer, a member of the Market Access Working Group, and the GSTC Technical Director. In these roles, they have contributed to the development of sustainable tourism standards and programs.

Andres has also worked as a Lead Auditor for Control Union Certifications, focused on sustainability in the Hotel & Tourism industry. Moreover, Andres has served as an Auditor for GUTcert, conducting energy audits for companies to identify energy efficiency improvements.

Andres Fellenberg Van der Molen's education history includes obtaining a degree in International Hotel & Hospitality Management from the Universidad Tecnológica de Chile in 1998. In 1999, they enrolled at the Hotel Management School Maastricht in the Netherlands, focusing on Hotel International. Andres also pursued studies in International Business at the University of New South Wales in Australia from 1994 to 1995.

Throughout their career, they participated in various training programs and obtained certifications. This includes becoming a Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 EMS/EMAS Environmental Management at the British Standards Institution, BSI Group in the Netherlands in 2014. Andres also became an Energy Commissioner and Auditor in ISO 50001 EnMS Energy Management from GUTcert Academie in Germany in 2016.

Andres Fellenberg Van der Molen further enhanced their skills and expertise by attending training programs in different areas. Andres received training in Climate Finance Analysis at The World Bank Institute in Washington DC, USA in 2015. Andres also became an Auditor and Implementer of the EarthCheck certification program at EarthCheck Training & Education in Australia in 2014. Additionally, they obtained certifications in auditing, training, and coaching of various programs including Travelife Tour Operators & Travel Agencies (ECEAT Training, Netherlands), Travelife Hotels & Accommodations (ABTA Training, United Kingdom), and Quality Coast and Green Destinations (EUCC Training, Netherlands).

Furthermore, Andres Fellenberg Van der Molen gained knowledge in Hotel Finance and Managerial Accounting for the Hotel Industry from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in the USA in 2006. Andres also attended a course in Hotel Finance and Financial Accounting for the Hotel Industry from the same institute in 2005.

Prior to their academic pursuits, Andres Fellenberg Van der Molen attended the Military Academy Bernardo O'Higgins in Chile from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Army and became an Infantry officer.
