Jon Gudnason

Jon Gudnason has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jon is currently working at Controlant as a Chapter Lead - Backend Engineering. Prior to this role, they were an Engineering Manager at the same company. Before joining Controlant, Jon worked as a Product Owner at Onelife SA, where they were responsible for ensuring the optimal value of products to end-users. Jon also served as an IT Director at Reviva Capital S.A., overseeing all IT activities of the company. Earlier in their career, Jon worked at Landsbanki Luxembourg S.A. as a Senior Manager and Software Developer, where they worked on various programming projects and created standardized client reports.

Jon Gudnason obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Reykjavik University, which they attended from 1999 to 2004. Jon then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Banking and Finance at the Luxembourg School of Finance from 2008 to 2010. In 2009, they completed an Executive Program in Finance at NYU Stern School of Business. In addition to their degrees, they obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2011 and as a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer from Microsoft in 2004.
