Gene Davis

Gene Davis has worked in the technology industry since 1998. Gene started their career at PeopleSoft as the VP Engineering in 1998. In 2004, they moved to Blue Martini Software as the VP Product Development. In 2006, they joined SeeSaw Networks as the VP Product Development, where they enabled multi-network advertising campaigns in digital place-based media. In 2011, they moved to Clio Music as the VP Products, where they worked on software that analyzed audio files. In 2012, they co-founded Splice Machine, where they led the most significant back-end release and open-sourced the database. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded ControlRooms.ai, an OT observability company.

Gene Davis attended Stanford University from 1980 to 1985, where they earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BA in Music. In 1992, they continued their education at the University of Toronto, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science in 1994.
