Thomas Schwarz

Thomas Schwarz has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Thomas currently holds the position of Director of IT at Contruent, starting in October 2022. Prior to Contruent, they served as Director of IT at IRON Financial LLC from December 2019 to October 2022. In this role, they managed the company's IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity, implementing process and technology improvements to mitigate risks and optimize performance. Before IRON Financial LLC, Thomas worked as Manager, Infrastructure Services at the same company from January 2012 to December 2019, where they focused on managing the IT infrastructure and driving cost-saving initiatives.

Thomas also gained experience as the ServiceMax NA Project Manager at Domino Amjet, Inc from June 2011 to January 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of IT at Heads & Threads International from September 2006 to June 2011, overseeing an IT infrastructure spread across multiple locations and managing a team of direct reports. Thomas also worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Tellabs, Inc. in 1986, focusing on designing, coding, and testing digital cross-connect systems.

Thomas Schwarz attended Notre Dame High School for Boys in Niles, Illinois from 1978 to 1982. Thomas then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Math with a Computer Concentration at the University of Notre Dame from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as VMware Certified Professional 3 from VMware in December 2007, and VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization from VMware in March 2015.
