Tommy A. Fernandez

Tommy A. Fernandez serves as the Associate Director of CI & Transformation at ConvaTec since May 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure at Ecolab from March 2013 to May 2022, where roles included Process Excellence Regional Manager, focusing on the implementation of TPM strategies and driving continuous process improvements across North American facilities, as well as Manager of Operations, achieving significant reductions in safety incidents and overtime. Previously, Tommy held various positions at Edwards Lifesciences from 2000 to 2013, including Business Excellence Project Manager and Manufacturing Manager, where responsibilities encompassed lean transformation and managing large teams. Early career experience includes an engineering internship at Baxter International Inc. Tommy holds a Master’s degree in Operations Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
