Robert Meklemburg has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2004 as a Student Researcher at Kent State University. In 2006, they took on a Student Worker role at Kent State, maintaining the Materials Science Digital Library (matDL). From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Case Western Reserve University, doing research on protein allostery using various graph-theoretic techniques and probing structural dynamics of proteins using hydrogen/deuterium exchange coupled with mass spectrometry. In 2012, they became a Research Scientist at Thermalin Diabetes, Inc., heading the stability and biophysical characterization of insulin analogs, as well as working in the area of protein purification. Robert Meklemburg received a Master's degree in Biology (Protein Dynamics and Allostery) from Case Western Reserve University in 2011, after earning a B.S. in Physics from Kent State University in 2007.
